Clark Commencement 2016: congratulations Mitchell, Vanessa and Sam!

Today was Clark University’s 112th Commencement. Congratulations to Mitchell Nuhn, who officially received his PhD today. Mitchell was one of six PhDs from The Biology Department, including Songnian Liu (shown below, with Mitchell), Yingjiao Wang, John Soghigian, Miguel Reyes, and Rich King. Along with Mitchell, other lab members who graduated today include Master’s student Vanessa Carrasco, who studied the impact of the invasive Japanese knotweed Fallopia japonica on AM spore density in the Hadwen Arboretum, and undergraduate Sam Kovaka, who worked with us on evolution of genes involved in mushroom development.
