Romina Gazis, who has been supported by the Open Tree of Life Project and PolyPEET for the last three and a half years, is headed off to a new post-doc in the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. At Clark, Romina pursued diverse projects on fungal phylogenetics, ecology of fungal endophytes, and comparative genomics (see pubs below). We will miss Romina tremendously, and wish her well in her new lab.
