We are delighted to welcome the newest member of the lab, Alicia Knudson, who is joining us as a PhD student. Alicia has an excellent mycological pedigree, having completed a Master’s degree with our colleague David McLaughlin at the University of Minnesota. Alicia’s Masters work concerned biodiversity of Ramaria (ectomycorrhizal coral fungi, see the photo). Subsequently, she worked as a full-time instructor at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. At Clark, Alicia will be working on…..something cool and mycological. It is really great to have someone with such a strong background in both mycology and college-level education in the group.
