Andy Wilson’s final paper from his PhD dissertation in our lab has made the cover of New Phytologist. This study documented the diversity and evolution of mycorrhizal associations in the Sclerodermatineae, a group within the Boletales that includes the weird and beautiful Calostoma (shown below).
